balls to the walls
That's what I called this weekend. Actually yeah - it's still ongoing. Why? Well I'll tell you. I had a physical last week and got my test results back Friday. Turns out I have insane cholesterol and have to get it down with diet. If I can't do that in the next 6-8 weeks, I have to go on medication for it. Looks like the holidays will be a blast! So, back to balls to the walls, I decided this weekend I would eat really bad as a kind of arterial send-off. I've had Jack In the Box, many a Krispy Kreme, a ginger honey shake from Port City Java (large of course) and tonight I'm planning on KFC! I literally only let myself eat KFC twice a year max, so I'm burnin my 2nd ticket today. I can't wait!
God dang my right hand is cold. Just the right. Also regarding my tests: I'll tell you something personal. My doctor felt a something suspicious in my left breast and ordered me to get a mammogram and ultrasound...right then. So...that was kinda scary. Luckily, those tests came back with no abmormal mass. Thank God. Makes one kind of quit bitching about the size and shape of her boobs...
Ahh! Feist just came on! I am obsessed with her. But still...Dead Can Dance...you were awesome too. Speaking of music, I must brag here. I saw Tim Reynolds last night! Like..live and super up close! He's so weird. I love it. I ended up going by myself, which blew, but once one becomes immersed in Killians and TR, one forgets things like that. I looked way hot too - I just gotta put that out there. 3 guys talked to me - one from Corpus! My outfit: dark perfect fitting jeans; camel suede dork shoes with big gummy soles; sea foam green 3/4 sleeve sweater from h&m - very thin, slim fitting, cool X under the crew neck in the stitching; chocolate thin cord jacket with tiny peach blossoms on it with tiny green stems; dark purple (jewel tone - hello winter 05!) suede hobo; earrings had 3 med. gold hoops hanging down one on top of the other, with a stone inside each: light purple, sea foam, peach. And lemme tell ya...EYE was a peach. Oh yeah my hair was super smooth and straight too with subtle curled ends in the front - major body, major sexy.
If you don't know Tim Reynolds, he is a LEGENDARY guitarist who's collaborated a lot with Dave Matthews. They've put out a live album, and he's toured a couple of times with him - just a Dave/Tim acoustic tour. Man there's nothing like seeing him live. He's so weird! And he's playing all this awesome shit: Zeppelin and NIN and his stuff too. He played acoustic, electric, and acoustic-electric. He has this cool processor too that he records a little crazy robot sounding riff with, and then that will be his background rhythm. You just gotta see it - so cool. And he played "Stream" too - the one that's on the Dave & Tim album. It's just him... and it sounded like a full band. Maybe because he was wearing goggles...
