Annie and I went to The Two Towers tonight.. It was packed.. We wanted to go to the 6:30 show, but it was sold out.. We ended up going to the 7:20.
I am really glad that Christmas is over.. It really was not that exciting this year. I did get some of the stuff that I wanted, but it just didn't feel like Christmas. I had to work until noon on the 24th.. then I had an appt at Best Buy to remove my CD deck and put it into the Grand Am. I saw a bunch of people that I use to work with. It is always nice catching up. It is nice to have connections there too.. Christmas eve we did the usual.. dad made dinner.. we opened gifts.. then went to mom's friends house for a bit. I got to see my friend Jamie's baby.. He is so cute, but he is a bit of a chunk now.
Christmas Day was at Gram's house.. My aunt and uncle from Texas came.. It was nice to see everyone. I helped grams with the food and showed her how to burn her files on CD. She thought it was pretty cool. Now she will have something to tell her coffee friends.. She makes me laugh. Dad made egg rolls.. everyone loved them. I brought some home for Ann. She now is in love with my dad.. lol..
Last weekend we went to the cities.. I was going to go alone, but then I didn't know if things were going to work out. So Ann said that she would go with me. I made reservations online at the Radisson in St.Paul. We got an awesome deal. We went to the MOA for awhile. Finished my Christmas shopping. I spent so much money. I wanted to stop at the Franklin Covey store in the MOA, but I forgot. We get a 20% discount on their stuff. The company supplies us with planners from them.. they are pretty sweet.
Mattmn called when we were at the mall. We decided to meet for dinner and such. We went to check into the hotel and they said that they couldn't find our reservation. I had called the night before to ensure, and the guy told me it takes them 24 hours to get the info. I told them that I was already here and I had the conformation number. After talking to everyone and their grandma they finally told me just to stop in and they would hook us up. Everything was cool. The hotel was awesome. Matt picked us up and we went to the Olive Garden. We went to Matts house. It was nice. It was great seeing Matt again...
That is about all for now.. I know it has been forever since I have updated this thing.. I know I need to give it more attention. My friends from Duluth are coming to stay tomorrow. We are going out to eat and chat.. Should be fun..
