Finally...
... I am online with my new cable modem. It was a bit of a bitch at first trying to get the router to work, but I finally did.
Ok... So I have been a little busy.. moving...traveling..etc.
Two weeks ago I finally did decide to go to Vegas. I was suppose to work that weekend, but then they called me during the week and said that the event was cancelled... That was awesome.. Jessie had offered to pay for everything.. She just needed my help to move all of her stuff back to ND.. She has lived in Vegas for the last 5 years. I think that I had been there almost every year. We always have a great time. Anyway.. She is moving back to ND because her boyfriend lives here and she graduated from college.
We got there on a Friday after 23 hours of constant driving.. We were tired, but not to tired to enjoy Vegas. We only had a few days.. We went to the Rio to the Seafood Buffet. I had raw oysters on the half-shell for the first time.. They were really good. We also had sushi.. it was so good.. The wasabi was a bit hot though.. be careful with the green stuff is my advice.
Jessie's brother Brenden wanted to get a tattoo.. Jessie just recently got a band around her arm, so we went to her tattoo artist. He tattooed Halle Berry and Drew Berrymore. He got a sun with a celtic triangle band in the middle.. it was cool.
Saturday.. Jess said that she was taking us out to eat and then out dancing. She didn't tell us where we were going, just that we needed to dress up. We went shopping and I bought some shoes.. Just what I need is another pair of shoes.
We went to the Hilton to Benihana's. It is a Hibachi style Japanese restaurant. We had pina coladas in little buddahs and had a great meal. The Mandarin Orange Cheesecake was awesome too.. Then she took us to the MGM Grand. We went to Studio 54. It was the so fresh and new to me. I have never seen anything like it. (you have to remember I live in ND!) It was wild... men in speedo's coming out of the ceiling. It was so high energy and crazy.. We danced all night.. I was having so much fun that I didn't even notice that I had a huge blister on the back of my foot from my new shoes.. It was all worth it though.. The drive back was a bitch.. but we made it..
