Comfortably Numb

It has been so long. I am such a slacker at keeping this thing up so I thought I would post.
Things have been going well. I am on winter break from school. It has been really time consuming but I think I am actually learning something. What an amazing concept.. LOL. We are off until January 10th so we get a little over a month break. It is amazing when you actually get back into school you wonder what you did before with all of your free time.
I went out and tried to finish most of my christmas shopping tonight. It was a nice night for shopping though the roads are getting a little slippery as the night goes on. I only have one more gift to pick up. I am meeting my friend Lori for dinner tomorrow so I will pick it up then.
I am going to Vegas again in January for 5 days. My friend Jessie found awesome tickets for 5 nights out of Bismarck. Her brother and dad are going with us. She has several friends down there and we always have a good time. Her friend Steph is a "dancer". So she knows all of the kewl places and has all of the good connections. We should have a blast. We plan trying a lot of restaurants and clubbing. It should be great to get out of Fargo and go to the desert.. especially in January. I am such a mini-vacation whore, but it is fun.
A few weekends ago I went to the cities with Jessie. She had to go and exchange a necklace at Tiffany's. She received it from her dad on her birthday and she wanted a different style. The closest one to us is in Edina. So we had a little road trip. We stopped at IKEA.. it was gynormous. I couldn't believe how big it was. I picked up a few kewl things for cheap. We stopped at PF Changs for some chinese and then had some dessert at Cheescake Factory. It was yummy.
Last Thursday we had our Christmas party for work. It was at Monte's Downtown. It is really nice and the food was excellent. Downtown Fargo is really being revitalized. There are posh little businesses opening up and attracting more people to spend there money downtown. The growth has really taken off ever since the Hotel Donaldson was redone. They compare the HoDo hotel to Le Meridian in Minneapolis. So I guess it is pretty fabulous to stay in. That would be fun to do some night?
Friday is Treat Day at work. That means that everyone brings a lot of food, we get to slack a bit, run around the building eating and we receive our bonus checks. Mine should be pretty sweet. Money Rocks.
