ITS ALMOST HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!
Blaerrrg, I totally don't want to be here. Not because I'm in a bad mood or anything, but because I'm all antsy. It's only four sleeps 'til halloween and only one until I go to the gay bar with Marc for halloween partying. And I need need need to finish sewing my costume. I'm gonna be a cave woman. Arrgh, grrr better practice my grunting.
Last night was really nice. I got a ride home, and then crawled into bed with my love and watch Hellraiser 2 (had to get into the halloween spirit before starting my costume dontcha know) and then got crafty. Now I'm not a seamstress by any stretch of the imagination. The only sewing project I actually finished in home ec was a beanbag frog in grade seven. Any other year I spent in that class I either refused to do anything (ie: didn't bring fabric or a pattern and just sat and read my book) or I started things and never finished them. So needless to say my sewing experience is shitty at best, but the pattern I grabbed looks super simple. And the seams I sewed last night were damned near straight. This is the reason I'm all antsty, for once my sewing project isn't frustration me all to hell so all I want to do is go home, put on a scary movie and sew to my little heart's content. I have a bunch of other things to do for my costume as well. I've got to make my bone necklace (with real bones to boot), figure out what to wear on my feet, and turn an old stuffed animal into a bloody carcas/purse. Ideallly, I'd also like to get my nails done and go buy some bone plugs or earrings but these seem to be the least likely to happen.
