Glass and Splinters

You know those jewel spiders that everyone is talking about. The ones that are huge and hairy and everywhere this year? Well, there's a couple living in one of the corners of the yard. Now I've never been a big fan of spiders but in the last few years I've learned to appreciate them...except if they're on me, or anywhere I plan on sleeping or being naked. Those are the rules. Anyway, I don't have the heart to kill these ones, and they are nice and juicy let me tell you. I've been affectionately calling them the ladies, and whenever I see them out in their webs I have to go over and take a look (except when I'm eating mushrooms, then they give me the creepy crawling feeling all over). I would love to take some pictures of them but they're not usually out when the light is good. They really make me want to go talk to a tattoo artist. I've been dreaming of my spider tattoo for a few years now, I just need to talk to somebody who can draw well, so I can get something on paper. I'm planning on taking the last week of the month off so I just need to set aside a day to go talk to someone.

Also I just want to give a shout out to Nolan to say thank you thank you thank you for lending me the Mordant's Need books that one year. I found them at the little second hand book store by my house (I can tell you where it is if you'd like to check it out. So much closer than whyte). I think they're my new favorite books. They've got everything you could want in a book. Backstabbing gallore, romance and sex, a girl who doesn't know if she actually exists, princes and princesses, monsters, and even a spaceship. There's always so much happening that it's almost impossible to give anyone a quick description of the story. But yeah, thank you muchly!!!
