Good to Go...

Alright, so right now I am on the awesome Norwegian vessel heading towards India. Accomodations is better than Star Cruise, food is better than any western restaurant chain you can find in Singapore. Ho ho ho...

Everything is progressing quite smoothly except for a few hiccups with the ROV and stuff. And on top of that, they are flooding my poor ROV with too many gadgets, so I have absolutely ran out of Data Channels for me to send up the data of the sensors they have added onto my ROV. Some data channels does not work... some seem to work strangely (232 working on a 485 data channel?)... So a lot of stuff to troubleshoot. We have about 4 more days before the job starts? It depends on the mood of the customs at India checking all our equipment and stuff.

I have suspended my mobile line, so nobody will be able to call me, or send me sms until I come back.

My boss has extremely kindly offered to fly me to Mongolia so that I can meet my girlfriend when it is time for me to do my crew change. He says it would probably cost about the same to fly me to Mongolia and to fly me to Singapore so it's okay. That's a very nice offer. I am still considering. Basically my gf in Mongolia advise me not to go to Mongolia until after March as it may be too freaking cold for me.

Got to go. This is the ship's internet line I am borrowing. Can't be online too much. Cheers and God Bless to all.
