RhumbaToTs:: Journey Brought Forward...

First of all, I want to say how much I love my new work. I just started work on Monday (Yesterday... erm the day before yesterday), and in the first day, I was introduced to our electronics engineer, Clement, a nice Filipino guy who has only been in the company for three months. I see a lot of familiar stuffs from my poly days so this is good news for me. We did some simple troubleshooting, which I love because it is a sense of achievement to solve problems, and it feels great that all my digital electronics knowledge did not really disappear.

So I saw a lot of stuffs from my poly days, and at the end of the day on my way home, the administrative people called me and informed me that I was to fly the next day (today). So pack pack pack and rush rush rush and here I am. Flight was supposed to be at 2359... BUT... it has been delayed to 0300hrs...

This is the first time I am experiencing the chance to wait around in the Airport. Quite a cool feeling. I went to buy a LAN cable so that I can do some internet surfing. My new buddies (three other guys) thought that there was free wireless so they did not get the cable. Apparently there is 'free' wireless for Starhub suscribers which non of them are so they are now using the airport's '15 minutes' computers to surf.

I am so freaking excited! Next stop heathrow airport, hang around in transit for 2 hours and then off to Aberdeen...
