This is the ASUS XG Station. It's basically an external PCI-Express device that will hold your latest graphics card. The ASUS XG Station will connect to the laptop via the express-card slot (finally the express-card slot on my ThinkPad doesn't seem so useless anymore), and then to an external monitor to provide you with advance 3D Accelerating Graphics Performance which your poor laptop could never have.
On top of being a graphics card device, the ASUS XG Station has additional USB Slots, a Dolby Headphone output and a cool looking information display. The device is also available in orange/black as opposed to green/black.
