I don't want to jinx anything - but contracts will be exchanged next week and hopefully the sale will complete by next Friday. That would be jammy as it will give us a weekend to move just at the start of my two-week long holiday for Whitby and house moving.
I suspect that then i shall have time to feel stunned/elated/panicky/enthusiastic and everything else you are supposed to feel upon signing your soul away to a bank.
At the moment i just feel....*boff* (gallic shrug)
I am looking forward to a garden of my own and have already selected all my plants - purple, prickly or poisonous every one. David Brewer was cruel enough to suggest it will reflect my personality. :-)
Course, it will back fire on me when i send Dave out for a handful of mint.
