Notes: I think the only way to keep writer's block at bay is to write as often as possible. The idea for this drabble popped into my head while working on my next one shot.
“Dad, where’s Mum?” seven year old Rose asked, rushing into the kitchen.
“In her study,” Ron replied, peering over his copy of The Daily Prophet. “But she’s working right now, Rosie, so you can’t disturb her.”
“But I have a question.”
Ron lowered the paper. Rose always had a question. “What about me? I do know a thing or two.”
Rose shook her head. “You said that onions make people cry because they taste bad and Mummy said that wasn’t true.”
“I was kidding, sweetheart.” Ron cringed inwardly. “Go on, then, ask me anything.”
“Where do babies come from?”
“Hermione!”
