A Kindergartener Who Pays Attention
This happened at after school duty, I was supposed to wait with the day care kids, and I have to RUN from my building to get there in time.
Christian: *chatty chat chat to the kids next to him* Mrs. Manion, I beat you here, AGAIN!
Me: I know, Christian, you are just too fast for me. I beat you to music class, though! (He came in late that morning.)
Christian: What? Music?
Me: Yeah. Remember? You were late to school, you came to music, I opened the door and tried to talk to you and you stared at me and wouldn't even talk.....
Christian: *stares at me*
Me: Never mind. How was your day.
Christian: *Long huge story about his drawing of a spiderweb or something, the kindergarten came out and I couldn't really understand him*
Me: .....oh, that's great! Uhm, can I see the picture?
Christian: WAIT! YOU TEACH ME MUSIC SOME DAYS!
Me: *facepalm*
