Me too. I almost never watch the last episode because it's well... the ending. They won't be together every day anymore and when Winters start telling about what happened to who and who died already I start bawling. In my head they stay young and alive forever and ever ;)
yes, the ending is sad but I also find it very satisfying. It's a beautiful scene, they're happy and relaxed despite all they've been through.
The part that always gets me after when they show the vets names, Lipton quotes Henry V and Winters says "Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?" "No, but I served in a company of heroes." ...oh man, I'm getting all teary eyed just writing this!
