Wales beat Ireland (also winning a grand slam) in the Six Nations Rugby on Saturday! The first time in 27 years! I would have LOVED to have been in Cardiff, but alas, Aber it was. The excitement was still palpable though. I watched the historic game in the back of Jessops, at times practicing Welsh with Steph and Owain who work there. With the whole of Aber either watching the game or on the beach, there wasn't a lot of work that needed doing, so the Jessops crew decided to crack open the Foster's and fill the broom closet with balloons. :-)
Now that the Easter Holiday has commenced, Aber has cleared out and it is eerily dead. I guess that leaves me no excuse for putting off my Restoration Lit essay!
