Ahahaha I love it when I'm fully allowed to say "I told you so" hahaha.

I've posted before about my niece and her mother. Well yesterday they went to Dawnna and had a lesson *snickers* I'd already warned Dawnna about the kind of trainer they'd had before, so while I wasn't surprised to hear that she harped on some things, I was a little bit surprised to hear that she told them to "quit hauling on my horses' mouth!" hahaha although I suppose I shouldn't be, she's rather outspoken hehehe. She ALSO told them that they need to be doing more reading to get more theory into their heads. When I hear THAT one I turned around and said "I told you so, didn't I tell you so?" to my niece. She just told me to shuttup and I pranced about the rest of the evening feeling fully vindicated. I'd told her over and over that she needed to be doing some reading, but she hates reading. Now, to me, it just makes sense that if you want to know about something, even if you hate to read, you'd make the effort to get some knowledge about it. Now maybe they'll stop ignoring me when I tell them things about horses hehehe. My sister in law said "you sound exactly like Dawnna". Well what did she expect, to find out that I was just blowing smoke out of my ass?

All I can do is roll my eyes, I'm still feeling too vindicated about it to be upset. I'm taking it as a compliment that I "parrot" Dawnna ^_^ I'm going to have to tell her that, she'll laugh.

I learned how to clean a sheath today! I had my hand right up there, it was kinda cool. The Forest Grove Farmers' Institute had a horse health clinic today, and Brian was there, and one of the things that came up was sheath cleaning. So of course I was right in there, listening to what he was saying, and he went and got his stuff and cleaned out this one gelding, and he looked at me and said "do you want to try?" so I did, it was really quite interesting. So I'll find out if Excalibur is any good, and I'll get on Smokey's needed-to-be-cleaned sheath. And then I guess I need to go at Sham. She's not bad, she doesnt' have much gunk, but it probably won't hurt for me to do it, it hasnt' been done since last year. Logan doesn't look bad, he's not covered in smegma like poor old Smoke is. I'm sure Kissy needs to be done, I'll offer to do it if she does need to be done, but I'll also hint that it's something that Kirsten should know how to do.
