Life is good!
I popped up to Musicwerks on Cap Hill last week, as I was Jonsing for some new music for my collection. I purchased Fortress in Flames by The Crüxshadows. A most tasty album. I really like it. Yes, I know it is not new. I just never bothered to get it. Between finding a nifty goth Internet radio station, and having an iPod, I've had a desire to fill out my music collection with the bands I like. I also like being able to support a small, local, independent music shop that supports the local goth/industrial scene. Yeah, I could probably have bought the disk cheaper in eBay, and I'm not going to completely turn my back on good deals, but it feels better when I support the local scene.
When I went to Musicwerks I was saddened to note that Auraface had closed. I have some fond memories of Seattle's gothic coffee house. Does anyone know where gothee is now? Or has that fine event gone too?
