(no subject)
So yeah, this week has been pretty ridiculous, but today's my Chaucer exam and when that's over maybe I'll actually get more than 2 seconds of spare time at once. Or that's what I keep telling myself anyway.
And of course, the Red Sox picked this week to actually DO something...and I had no time to obsessively refresh Extra Bases and redsox.com every 30 seconds, as I am so fond of doing. But I did find some time to SURREPTIOUSLY (and how do you like that fabulous vocabulary right there) check the news in baseball world, so here it is:
JIm Rice goes to HOF -- I'm happy for him, but since I never saw him play I can't really be too involved in this one. I'm actually more psyched about Rickey Henderson...over/under on how many times he says "Rickey" in his acceptance speech? 20? 30?
Daniel Bard throws 100 mph?!? Actually don't have anything to say here, but isn't the picture cute? Awwww...
...Brad Penny. Yeah. Not sure how I feel about this one but hey, maybe it'll work out great. And he and Josh used to hang out, so you know he's gotta be an awesome guy. And probably loves deer huntin'.
Bye Alex Cora... We'll miss you. I'm not sure who's going to be backup IF now but I guess we'll see. Anyway, good luck on the Mets and hopefully y'all won't have another horrifying collapse this season.
