So, now for the most awesome things I saw at the HOF:
1. Curt Schilling's cleats and BLOODY SOCK!!!! \incoherent excited freak-out noises
2. Marlins '03 WS ring. That thing has got to be the most ridiculously tacky jewelry item (or, um, any kind of item) that I have EVER seen. I remember seeing some press conference/TV thing with Josh Beckett where he was saying that now that he had a championship with the Red Sox maybe he'd get a ring he could actually wear somewhere. Now I see what he meant. Because the '03 ring...if you were to wear it anywhere at all, you would either be mugged instantly, or people would just ridicule/ignore you. That's just what it looks like. Sorry, Marlins/jewelry designer person.
3. Game balls from pretty much every no-hitter ever. Though WHY THE HELL didn't they have Jon Lester's yet??? (And they didn't have Dustin as the 2008 MVP yet either. So I had to see A-Rod's leering mug as the "reigning MVP" instead. Boooo.)
Pretty much EVERYTHING ELSE there was awesome too. But those were the first three that came to mind. And now...I'm gonna check out the hotel room minibar. Exciting stuff, people.
