My crazy cohorts and I once again donned our magical tranny clothes, though far more magical and less tranny this time around--we were only pretending to be men dressed as women for 1 song instead of all of them.
Best of all, NEW HAIR AND COSTUMES!
New wig and makeup! Wearing false eyelashes is... weird for me. And yes I'm aware you can see the gap between my eyelid and where the falsies sit; can't be helped because I have lashes that curl up and the way my eyelid folds. Only noticeable if you're really close though.
New dress, black with gold sequins. You wish your girlfriend was hot like me LOL
ROOT BEER, DRINK OF THE GODS. Sis a weirdo for not liking it's husband had bought some, and gave me a can. SWEET VANILLA-Y BLISS. *________*
FYI, almost all these photos are from mobile phones, ganked from fb. Brought my camera but didn't think to take photos til AFTER we performed. I am so smrt.
On to the performance, it was a charity event organized by a local group of gaijin and nihonjin participating in a charity walk sponsored by Oxfam. 100km in 48hrs, CRAZINESS. Anyway, half of the cover charge was donated to said charity. shigeruhiko, serialfiller and katala21 came to see it/me, too! :D It was joy and sadness, as katala21 just moved back to j-land and serialfiller is leaving next week.
Each performer/group was allotted about 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for setup. There were pianists, guitarists, keyboardists, belly dancers, rock bands (S's husband sings in a rock band, the Maddads), and us! We had the biggest crowd, which really blew my mind.
Weird lighting makes the wig look light brown

After we performed, I changed back into my regular clothes but kept the wig/makeup on for the LOLS.
