Oh yeah!
So, I've recently gotten back into DDR. I guess since Heather went back to Canada for the spring to do student teaching, I've had to find ways to try and fill the space it's temporarily left in my life. Of course nothing can replace her, but I've done my best.
And tonight I did something in DDR I've been trying to do ever since... well since I picked up that dance pad over a year ago. I finally got an A grade on Paranoia. For those of you uninitiated to DDR, you get an A grade on a song when you've done pretty well on it. Not all Perfect or Great (which is a AA) but still well enough that you could say you've pretty well mastered the song. And there's a Paranoia song of one kind or another on most every release of DDR, so I thought it would be a good goal to shoot for, especially since it's a difficulty rating of 7 or 8 out of 10.
Added to that, I got a AA on the Mamba, which isn't too difficult but it was a nice way to cap off the evening.
Anyway, that's my nerdish bragging for the time being. In wedding news, Heather and I have been making a lot of good progress on the wedding stuff. We've got rings pretty well done (I've got mine on the way from Maryland, and she's got her's ordered at a local jeweler and it should be there by week's end), and we've got the invitations printed and they should be going out soon.
Only thing is lining up the photographer. It was sort of a last-minute addition that we hadn't planned on, so we'll have to rush in the next week to get it done, but after THAT things should roll out properly.
