Kids these days

I just got a Wii, its pretty cool. I don't think i be needing a 360 or ps3 anytime soon, though i do want to play the last remnant when it comes out. I'm waiting for the amazon gift certificate to arrive so i can do an order online. Will get Fire Emblem: RAdiant Dawn and a component cable...wish i could get zelda too but don't think will have enough money. At any rate I've been rading a lot of FE reviews and theya re funny. For the most part they are 8-10s and the few lowballs have a few things in common. The first thing they don't like is well its almost the same graphically as Path of Radiance, and its "boo hoo traditional fire emblem the same premise and mechanics for the last 17 years it hasn't been updated for the 'next generation' of gamers." Well honestly thats fine with me, i don't give a woot. The other thing every one agrees on is the difficulty level. Apparently the negative reviews so its so punishingly difficult that it will turn off all but "the most harcore gamers, or fire emblem veterans." Even the glowing reviews say normal and hard modes can be bone crushingly difficult. I think imma start in normal mode when i get it, sounds fun. In prep i got a new memory card, since the old game cube one corrupted my PoR save data 3 times. Replaying through on normal to get clear data back, which can be transfered to RD, to give the greil mercenaries their old weapon levels and support levels back. If i have time i will try to beat on hard mode. Currently I'm on Blood Runs Red, mission 10. Having a bit of difficulty. Not necessarily because its hard to beat but because of who i'm trying to beat it with. I could send the laguz and titania forward and cut my way through the map like a knife through hot butter, but then nobody else would lvl up. I've got a lot of weaklings too...the last few battles have gotten a lot of recruits. Plus i'm trying to visit all three houses with open doors before the enemy thf does, as well as get the myridon you can get in this chapter. So far i've made some misjudgements with the boss and recently with boyd on the front lines. The two sword knights that come down both get 2 attacks on him no matter what, which guarantees a very dead axe wielder. Looks like next time through I will need to put Ike, Oscar, titania, and some laguz on the front line to soften those bastids up.

STill debating on getting wings of a goddess when it comes out.
