I'm finding some really nice things at the Goodwills here lately.
One thing that really surprised me was a genuine wool blanket with the word COACH printed on it. When I looked it up, I was surprised to find that it came with at least a $200 price tag. (Not bad for something I paid $4 for.)
Another thing that's surprised me is this little heart-shaped trinket box that I found at the Goodwill a few weeks ago. (Turns out this is a type of Pale “Wedgwood Blue” Jasperware.) In the first picture, you see a trio of three small objects and the trinket box I found is the one up front.

It was a bit grimy so I cleaned it up with some Bar Keeper's Friend and a soft toothbrush and it looks much better now. (Yep. You can do that--if you're careful. It is, after all, ceramic and I checked it carefully for nicks and chips and found none.)
I keep my eyes open when I'm at the Goodwill. You never know what you're going to find while you're there. Way too many people clean out their elderly family member's homes after they die without stopping to think about their stuff and its value.
