Friday's Housework...
I think I've finally caught up with the last of today's housework:
I washed a load of my own clothes early after folding a load of stuff and then shoving another load of stuff into the dryer.
I cleaned the back bathroom (big mirror, throne, rugs, etc.) and then set the whirlpool tub up for its cleaning cycle. (Thank Heaven that's done now.)
And somewhere during all of this, I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher THREE TIMES! [Merciful Heavens, that sounds horrible but you do what you have to do.]
The racks on the top of the stove were nasty so I snatched them up and stuck them in the dishwasher along with the glass turn-table from the microwave for a quick wash.
The stove and the microwave both got scrubbed until they looked respectable once more.
The washing machine has definitely done its duty this afternoon. It attacked and conquered a huge load of dirty towels and now its working on our cranberry red curtains for our back door. (I evicted a stinkbug and a jumping spider when I took them down--oh, what a dusty mess!)
I'm done for today though. It's time for me to go have some fun. Our local library is having a book give-away this evening starting at 6:30 pm and I don't want to miss it!
