I mostly vid linearly. The ones where I vid out of order tend to be ones where the narrative of the vid is less important, such as my multifandom ones.

I tend to revise as I go along until I'm happy with entire sequences in vids. Once I have a full timeline, I hardly ever make any significant changes unless it's a clip or two that can easily be changed without affecting the surrounding clips.
20. Choose a section from one of your earlier vids and talk about whether and how you'd do it differently now.
One of the things I hardly do at all nowadays are short crossfades. The section from 2:31-2:50 in Glorious is full of them. I remember I used short crossfades there because the song was a bit muffled, but now they just seem kinda mushy. I'd probably be more likely to work with beats within the clips.
