The original vid was the first time I'd worked with cam footage, and I was pretty happy with how it turned out. So I was waffling on whether or not to remaster this vid after I got the DVD for the second movie. I'm happy I did, since it didn't take too much effort given that I still had the original project files. For one, I didn't have to do a whole lot of cropping since it turned out that the second movie on DVD really is 2.35:1 like the cam footage, whereas the first movie is 16:9. It's a bit odd that the two movies are different aspect ratios.
Another thing is that someone at Escapade during vid review commented on liking the blurriness of the cam footage in contrast with the DVD footage, especially in dancing sequence. So I added a tiny touch of blur there to soften the edges. Overall though, I didn't do a whole lot of editing with the new DVD footage, hence the new tagline. :D
