Finally, an update
So I decided I needed a new comforter set. They were on sale at Macys.com and I got free shipping so if I don't like it, I can return it and not be out like 20 dollars in shipping. Shipping from Macys is frickin' crazy expensive. I couldn't make up my mind so I ordered two different ones. I think I know which one will make the final cut, but I'm waiting until they arrive to make the final decision. I lay on top of the comforter to read, so I needed something sturdy and without any raised details that jeans and whatnot will catch on and rip out. I'm currently using my mother's old one that has to be about 15 years old. So yeah, time for a new set. I had purchased a full room set with the curtains and all, but that one had the raised stitching that was getting beaten to hell. So I might need new window treatments to match my new one. Good thing there is only one small window in my cave of a bedroom.
These are the two options in the running. If I like neither, they both go back, and off I go to Kohls, Target, JC Penny, or BedBathandBeyond for other options.
Option 1: Comforter, bedskirt, 4 piece sheet set, 2 shams
Option 2: Comforter, bedskirt, 4 shams
