cars and bikes and things
Whew. It's started raining. I was worried I was going to have to actually water my plants today. :-)
I have 9 tomato, 1 cherry tomato, 1 sad Jacaranda tree, and one very sad grapevine.
I went strawberry picking today and then took my car into the shop. I needed an inspection and oil change and tire roatation but they wouldn't pass me on the inspection until they declouded my headlights. Which cost a heck of a lot of money. And I just saw something fly by. I think it might hae been a wasp. Yuck. I hate those things. I also got my bike out of my friends' basement and am going to take it in to town tomorrow for a bit of a tune-up. A full tune-up at the one place was 75 dollars and they wouldn't do it until monday or tuesday. Looking at and fixing the gears was a 10 dollar quote at the other place and if they aren't busy, they'll do it while I wait. Guess which place I'll be visiting?
My legs are very sore from the running and walking I did on Thursday (wednesday?) whatever. They hurt. They are very tight and stretching hasn't been helping. I've been hobbling like an old man. Like the guy in "Up" which I want to see but will wait a week or two. Now my food is ready for dinner so that is all I'll update.
