Chris went logged from our Civ game around 11ish. I figured I'd get in some Borderlands before bed. Except... no audio. After much struggling, I got sound going on my receiver again (still don't know wtf was wrong), but my subwoofer started buzzing. I don't know what changed or why, but after trying all manner of things, including disconnecting LFE, turning it off and on, trying different outlets, moving it away from other electronics, and disconnecting anything plugged in near its plug, I've determined that if it's in any way getting power through the only outlet near it, it buzzes. On other wall jacks in the apartment, it doesn't--even if the sub itself is where it clearly buzzes in its original outlet. So either I find some way of safely running the cord into the kitchen for it, or run an extension cord across my apartment the way I had to run my coax cable to get my computer anywhere not retarded.
At this point, it's late enough I should just sleep. That's not in the cards, though. Not after this. No, it's Borderlands, and bitchea are gonna BURN. >:/
