it has been a looong, but enjoyable week! I was helping out with the singing for activities week-so ace! It was such an esteem booster having all those people praising for my voice...and I had a cold! Yes, I've suffered a little with the sniffles this week, but I haven't felt sorry for myself :) My evenings have also been crammed with things...monday I had SPARKs in the park, followed by a meeting to organise the Holiday Club in August. Then tuesday eve I had to go to Gran's then cycle to a training on "safe from harm" (talking about the cautions you have to be aware of when working with children). Wednesday I went to Cowbridge to listen to Beth's orchestra playing. It was an evening of film music-as have all her other concerts been this year! It was fab! extremely hot, but fab!

Last night was the most exhausting, or should i say I was most exhausted? In the day I had done all sorts, really not like me at all waht happened. Firstly I avoided singing by sitting in the common room chatting to a girl from year 13 that I hadn't really spoken to before. Then Andrew came and joined us,which was a good laugh!Oh I can't wait to get those photos back of him dressed as a girl!!!! ok, so then I had violin which was fab, we played a lovely violin quartet from scratch and it sounded fab. This was closely followed by reccording one of the songs we'd worked on this week, a medley from Beauty and the Beast! It sounded fab, but we all melted in the room!!! we finished that by 11:30, and we were then given a two n a half hour lunch break! So I went back to the common room and played fussball, baseball with an umbrella and a pair of rolled up socks, and generally had a laugh! Rachel was in by this time so that was cool. I soon got called away though to record the alto part with mr pratt singing baritone, to give the piece a bit more class apparently. So yeah, did this, went back downstairs, had to go back up cos something messed up, came back down, where I met mrs fisher who had bought me a box of chocolates to say thankyou for helping out :) these were soon polished off by myself, Patool, Pete and Andrew. I didn't have to go back and help out in the afternoon so I just enjoyed myself! Good times:)

anyway, I knew that by the end of the day I had to pack for the next 7weeks (I know I'l be coming home for one week, but I'll pack to come home again). so when I got home, I did all I could to avoid it! I actually did the ironing. This really took it out of me. I was shattered by the end of this, but felt I had to pack. So I did. It was far easier than I was expecting! And there's not too much stuff considering I'm away for almost 2months!!!!! I then treated myself to a beautifully cold bath before going to bed!

Getting up this morning was such an effort! So I decided to have an extra hour in bed and make my own way to school. I caught the bus in the end, and was so cross when I got to school! The only reason I was going in was to get a copy of the CD of us singing from Mr Pratt...and he wasn't in his office. I stormed through the common room, where Andrew scared the living daylights out of me, simply by saying hello. I made a fool of myself cos I couldn't talk properly and ended up calling "bed" bread" instead. So I stormed off to music, wasn't there either. Thankfully when I went back to his office he was walking behind me so I sat there and waited for a copy to be made and then caught the bushome.

Since then, I have been a helpful girl! I have emptied the dishwashe, I have brought in washing from the line and ironed it all, I have finished all my packing and brought it all downstairs, seeing as I won't be here when they load up the car...I'll be at a teddy bear's picnic :) with Rainbows of course!!!

And then I'm off to TRESAITH!!! YAY! I can't wait to get there. Right, I need to eat, drink and be merry...without the drinking or being merry! Then hop on my bike and go to a picnic! hmmmm, I need to think of parachute games to play :)joys.

well I'm sure there's enough there to last the next few weeks, until I can get somewhere that has an internet connection, or until I come home for the week.
