I get a new place to live today, and a new roommate, and four less animals. Although life in my current home has improved markedly with the purchase of a dog crate, I'm still thrilled at the prospect of having a much less hairy abode where it's clean enough to cook and comfortable enough to relax. Hopefully, this roommate will be slightly less negligent than the previous one.
UT accepted me, although not for Library Science. I applied this semester to be accepted to the nutrition program, and that worked out better. It'll be back to square one, though. Almost all of my OU credits transferred, but none for courses required for this degree. Juggling work and school is a bit daunting, but people do it. I figure I'm better equipped for it now than I would have been at 18 or 19, so it's not that worrisome. What is scary is that there appear to be far less night classes than I imagined. My work is generous enough that they'll probably keep me around, even taking classes during office hours, as an intern or an assistant or something like that. I haven't discussed this with anyone yet. Keep your fingers crossed.
Salvadore is huge and sweet. He listens quite a bit better than he used to. In four days, he'll be ten months old. Mike and I are still together, which is somewhat of a surprise. Getting used to living in the same city was a bit trying for a while, but it's all improving. I'm very much looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas and Oklahoma and family. The new year looks pretty bright, at this point.
