Chris Cornell, opal, Sal
Chris Cornell came to Austin last night, and Mike and I attended. After eating lunch in Houston and dropping his car off at Hobby airport, we were running late. We got the concert at 9:30, not too worried since big bands never take the stage until that time anyway. Unfortunately, the show started at 7:00 and HE took the stage at 8:30. We got to see half of a cover of Billy Jean and one Audioslave song, then he left the stage. Luckily, he played two encores. We got five and a half songs, which was sufficient. Unfortunately, he's not playing San Antonio or Houston or Waco or anything. Next stop is LA. :(

My puppy is a sweet, sweet boy who slept on my lap the whole way from Houston to Austin and released his anal gland stench all through the car. :)
