I'm watching the movie Winter Passing.
There is a scene where the main character has rescued a kitten and she finds out that he has feline lukemia. She can't afford to have the cat put to sleep, so she takes it to the harbor, and puts him in a duffle bag, and throws the kitten into the lake.
it was one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed on film.
