Coming online now has become such a rarity that I usually limit my 'online activities' to checking my email. Gosh. Work's been taking up quite a lot of my time and because I spend so much time staring at the computer screen at work already, turning on the laptop after I get home really isn't most appealing.
So anyway, the CAC bunch met up on Friday for dinner though it was a pity we missed quite a few. Saturday saw me going to the National Stadium for the first time to cheer on our Singapore soccer team in a face-off with traditional archrivals Malaysia. We beat them on penalties woohoo! Not that our team played fantastically (otherwise we wouldn't have needed to go to a penalty shootout now would we?) but I suppose the atmosphere was pretty amazing, and it was a good result for us, considering how 55,000 fans braved the rain and massive traffic to render them support. So yep, at least our trip was worth it. And I can now say that I've at least been to the soon-to-be-demolished National Stadium once. That's one for the record.
It's the end of the weekend. Back to work again.
