Further Tales of Indoor Wildlife

The cat just killed a mouse. This is amazing, as he's old and slow and "has not too many teeth," as the vet puts it. There was a sound in the kitchen and then he came out to the living room making muffled meowing noises and carrying the mouse. Then he decided to drop it on the floor and start batting it around. I think he was trying to get it to run away so he could chase it and pounce on it. This is the point where he lost his new toy because I picked it up with a paper towel and threw it out in the bushes.

I'm not sure if this makes me look forward to moving back into the dorms tomorrow more or less.
