Tune In Showtune!
Recently, when I was working on nerodi's birthday present, I noticed that there really wasn't a community on LJ for the sharing and discussing of showtunes, broadway shows, etc. So, I created one! Yay!

THIS IS A MUSIC COMMUNITY CREATED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHARING AND DISCUSSING OUR LOVE OF SHOWTUNES.
* Feel free to share your experiences with shows, and/or songs.
* Requests are one of the main reasons this community was created. If you're looking for a specific song or information about a specific recording, please feel free to ask. Someone may be able to provide you with what you are seeking.
* When sharing songs, information about the recording is appreciated but not necessary, i.e. "One Day More ~ Les Miserables: The Complete Symphonic Recording" is preferable to "One Day More ~ Les Miserables".
* Your opinions, no matter how obnoxious, are welcome but don't be an asshole.
* We encourage everyone to actively participate in the community.
* Do not post your LJ quizzes/memes, showtunes-related or not, here.
* Place large images, long text entries and offensive material under an LJ-cut.
* Do not post full albums here. We don't want to get in trouble with the RIAA.
* Do not post your full playlists for requests. This is not a P2P filesharing network.
* We do not support wholesale downloading. This community is a place to discover which musicals you like and then go see the show or BUY the recordings legally.
