writing babble
Um. So I find myself sort of unconcsiously putting in little bits of things that are interesting, but don't absolutely need to be there for this book. Character things, mostly. Things that plant the seeds for a sequel, or spin-off book about the wolves. Nothing really storyline-wise, to be left dangling in this book. Just...intriguing hints.
Like the fact the McClairen doesn't yet have a mate. And that behind the alpha/warrior/smiling-please-underestimate-me exterior, he's something of a romantic.
I don't know what to think of this. Is it wasted words? Or good to have in case the book I haven't quite thought of writing materializes. (Obviously my subconscious is thinking something.)
