We go to Japan next week, for a week. Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo.
----
2 new cats - Marco and Fumble.
----
Finally have an orchestra to play in - at least once - Brahms and Tchaikovsky.
----
Amongst the man singing to the sky and recognition of hominid skulls things are askew.

Marco is 2 and a half, grey and apricot tabby I guess, really pretty cat - looks like a tiger. He's very sweet, only ever heard him hiss twice, once when fumble was 1st being introduced and the second time when the vet stod on his tail. He never backs it up with anything, just sits there. He likes pats on his tummy and kneeds with his giant paws in the air when you do it. The first time when met him he just sat in our laps and purred like the jetson car. He's missing a toe on his back left foot because he used to be an outdoor cat and got it caught in a trap of some kind. He gets really car sick though, so we try not to take him places.
Fumble is a dork. He's grey with a big white patch on his chest (tuxedo) and white patches on his paws - and a little white lopsided moustache. He purrs really loudly and really easily. He's about 5 and a half months old now. When we met him he wanted to play and like to be picked up so we thought he was a perfect cat.
After Doozer died, I wasn't really sure about getting another cat simply because Doozer was kinda nuts, but I hadn't really had enough experience with cats to know the truth of that. But I think we did really well in choosing these two boys because they are both very sweet individuals, and they kinda get along although they still need a bit more time to figure out when to stop playing and some weird dominance issues. But I think they will :)
Man, I sound like an old cat lady...
