yay for awesomeness
I had a great day yesturday. It started off with walking down to harvard sq with Dianne to meet Chas. We then went to get some yummy bubble tea. I parted ways with them to head downtown. I needed to get out of my room and be in the fresh air.
So i got off at downtown crossing and started my way down to chinatown. I was i was in search for bento(japanese lunch box) supplies. I went into about three asian markets and a couple other stores. I went into the large one that i usually go to when I am there. First i searched for mamenori but no such luck. I then headed towad the isle with kitchenware stuff. I found a one layer bento box with a divider and such for only $2.19 so i got one for dianne also. I also found some cute jaspanese things and went back home.
I stayed in and watched a movie until about 8. My friend Scott had posted a bulletin about Metal night at the Skybar in Somerville because his band was playing there (Dreaded Silence). I decided I should go since it was so close. Everyone was busy so I ended up going alone. It was a little sketchy taking the side streets alone but i made it there ok. It was a pretty great night, spent the night hanging out with scott, drinking some tastey beers and watching 3 good bands( clean vocals) and one bad i wasnt really into. I probably shouldnt have drank as much because i was a little wobbly on my feet as i walked home up somerville ave and then down oxford st.
Needless to say I had an awesome night out. I definately rediscovered my love of metal. Well time to do some more laundry and then hang out until i meet up with the girls and go to the movies.
