i'm still alive!
haven't updated in a while.
besides work and getting ready to move and studying for the LSAT, i've absolutely fallen head over heels in love with hunter s thompson. it's serious...possibly an obsession. i nearly tore my hair out yesterday trying to find artwork or photographs of him online that i could buy (came up with nearly nothing - suggestions?). i read fear and loathing, watched the movie, watched some interviews with him, watched some clips of johnny depp reading letters he'd received from him (recorded for his funeral i believe).....and so on. i'm going to bmv to buy absolutely everything they have that was written by him. the rum diary first of all. hearing that johnny depp is currently filming that movie blew my mind...i was high when i discovered it, but it would have blown my mind anyway. argh what is wrong with me??

so i haven’t heard back from the consulate yet regarding my interview there, and they said they would let me know either way, sometime this week. in the meantime, however, i seem to have scored another interview for an internship at human rights watch, a non-profit advocacy and outreach organization in toronto. this one would be 2-3 days a week instead of 5, and thus give me a lot more time to do things like go to the gym, study for the LSAT, and generally enjoy myself. yet…it’s not the US consulate.
i wonder where i’ll end up (if anywhere…)
