Free Time...ME??
Yes, I have a moment of free time and decided to write down a few lines to update...
Things have been crazy but since I switched Family Video stores, I had the weekend off! It was wonderful! I had plans to do all kinds of homework to get ahead but all I ended up doing was resting and playing DDR. But Saturday was the most fun, Mom and I went up to Boone. We enjoyed the trees, which were only a little past prime, Linville Falls and a great little jewelry store in downtown Boone. The air was crisp and cool and the sky was clear and beautiful. We had great little veggie sandwiches and just caught up.
My dad is officially in Afghanistan, but he gets to call just about every night. And I'm really so busy I haven't had the change to miss him. But I'm sure once this stressful semester ends and the holidays begin, I'll start to really feel his absence.
I'm going to Louisiana for Thanksgiving...excited about that. And we're going to DISNEY for Christmas. It will be interesting to spend Christmas in Florida. Bet that'll be weird.
I just dropped two courses. I have signed up for a full load next semester but then thought why not just take the three courses I need to graduate. I might take some Spanish or broadcasting at a local comm college but I'm feeling ready to finish undergrad and head on to grad...what will I study? Not sure...:)
