OH my god Rent was amazing. Sad but amazing, the writing, the acting, the set, the music, it was all amazing. Well, Act I wasn't quite as amazing as Act II but it was still amazing.
Beauty and the Beast was Disneyish. Not really worth the 60 bucks in my opinion, but it was fun anyways. Very much spectacle theatre. But they did that thing with the floor that we tried for Twelfth Night and failed miserably at. It was Twelfth Night right? I dunno. whatever. they did it and it was cool. And they gave me ideas for Great Expectations costumes. Like Pippin should wear blue, and everyone else in earth tones. or vice versa might be nice. Or maybe it could switch with his situation. And quilting fabrics in layers with rich colors make a show look really expensive and nice.
anyways.... My mini-course is Jazz, which is cool, although I would rather have had anime. Matt promises to tell me all about the anime mini-course though.
Dum, last week, I've pretty much finished my posters, As much as they'll be finished anyways. I bought a Bobby McFerrin cd for 5 bucks at the Virgin megastore in times square. We got an hour to walk around Times Square on Sunday because we arrived at Beauty and the Beast an hour early. We spent the majority of the time in Virgin though.
Anyways I'm done now. College Fair and Tony Linn tonight, woot!
