(no subject)
I feel the need to post so as to get that other post off of the top of the page. I'm not sure what kind of mood I'm in right now, but its definitely not as bad as the one I was in before. So this will be my attempt at a happy livejournal post.
I reformatted again. Funny how I reformat more than I update isn't it./? Couldn't decide what sort of punctuation to put there. It was meant to be a statement, but technically its a question. They do those in books all the time you know, but they put the question mark and simply explain that the words were expressed as a statement instead of a question.... I'm really not in the mood to go on a grammar rant right now. meh...
OH!!!!!! New Gaelic Storm cd on August 3!!!!!! Woot! I'm gonna try to convince my mom to preorder it. Not something we usually do, but its Gaelic Storm! And its not a best of album. I swear, something about the past two years, everyone's reprinting and doing compilations and best of collections. So little new material. Frowny. But things are looking up really, people have to start coming out with new stuff, its getting to be that time of year again. Gaelic Storm has a new cd, Nickel Creek's due for one too I think. And Flogging Molly if they keep up they're every other year thing. Heck, if Moody, Penner, and Swain are still gigging together then they should be about done with a cd too. Henri's notions new one came out in April, Hooley's two weeks ago. See optimism! I have optimism! Really. hah
Card hasn't put out an Ender saga in about a year now. Lackey's due for something in August or September. still haven't gotten a hold on Sceptre'd Isle. Eddings has that new series, thats a fall print too I think. DeLint does winter printings if I remember arightly.
And I bought a guitar!!! A Washburn J12S. You can see it at they're website http://www.washburn.com. Its like a $600 guitar and I got it used for 190.00. Its so beautiful, dark wood (rosewood) on the sides and neck or fingerboard or whatever you call it. It has a mellow sound and an auditorium style body and its sooo perfect :D Yay! I found something to be all happy about! Happy is good. Happy thoughts happy thoughts...
Explo!!!!!!!!!! In 2 days! woot! And hopefully I'll be on the 1st or 2nd floor not the 5th. I'm already half packed. Hopefully I'll be in a suite with 2 friends from last year. Its gonna be so great! As long as it doesn't rain too awefully much.
Okay, thats enough for now I think. I guess I'll post later about the session and the tunes I've learned. I learned another Silk! Hag at the Churn. Simple and short. I'm working on Lady Anne Montgomery now and Harvest home next.
