i am utterly disgusted
ok, i have work to do, but i had to jot this down because i'm so pissed.
so this is gay pride week? i guess?
and typically there are phrases and triangles drawn on the sidewalks in chalk and what have you.
so when i came out of my 8o'clock class and saw chalk phrases, i didn't think anything of it, just figured it was the typical gay pride stuff.
then i noticed there were a lot of drawings of egg + sperm.
then i noticed a huge 'one way' arrow with 'my butt' written above it.
i have NEVER heard anyone on this campus say a discriminatory thing about ANY minority.
so i'm disappointed AND surprised.
i find this just as offensive as if someone had gone around campus writing racial slurs all over the place. or swastikas. or 'kkk'
so someone (possibly a student group) got up at 8 o'clock in the morning (which i consider a huge feat) to write horrible, offensive, and dehumanizing things about other people.
what got me the most is that 'stay straight' is the most abundant phrase.

doesn't that imply that everybody starts out straight and some just haphazardly decide to be gay?
i can't believe some people still think this way.
