mmm - it's getting chilly outside! I love Fall. I'm sorry - I know lots of people who don't like it. I love it. The colors are BEAUTIFUL this year and I have a new blessing... Hines Dr. I take it home whenever I can and see all the beautiful colors - it's very relaxing after a work day.
So, wow; this economy is scary, folks. Today there's another 'sell-off' in the US and worldwide markets. Of course, I don't see this volatility stabilizing until after the election... That makes me giggle though - what do these kooky market people think a new president can do.
Speaking of elections. I urge everyone to exercise your right and responsibility on Nov. 4. These are scary times for our nation, for everyone. I urge you to pray, inform yourself and vote.
I'm in a new bible study about the story of Jacob and Esau. Go Old Testament goodness! Last night the video lesson was really good. As you read about this totally dysfunctional family making all these mistakes and doing all these crazy hurtful harmful things - you can truly see that God is always in this, He keeps his promises and he is working in these people's lives regardless of all their failures and shortcomings. I am so THANKFUL that God works with messes!
To that end, I'm going to try to ignore the news for the rest of the day and just praise God I have a job today and a beautiful home and loving husband and put it in His hands that come what may we're going to get through this!
