Chockie, chockie, chockie, chockies....
Holidays. Woot!
Long weekend this weekend. Easter break, finally! Weird how much earlier Easter is this year, normally its not till April. It was earlyish last year too but not this early. Meh…anyway. Just means earlier holidays then. I needed this so bad though. Gives me time to make sure I’m up to date with all my studies etc etc. More importantly it gives me some ME time. I haven’t been able just sit down and relax for soo long. It’s quite refreshing. I don’t plan on doing anything all today, ‘cept eat chocolate. *grins* I’m setting Monday aside for studies, I’m ignoring my homework for now. As far as I’m concerned it is non-existant.
So. This morning I woke up and who should be sitting at my dorm window? Earélas, my father’s male Barn Owl. And ooh boy, did I have a lovely package or what. Hehe. Lotsa chockies from home. Homemade too. I doubt my mum made them though. Hehe. She’s never really been into the whole cooking thing. I’m betting my Grandmother on my dad’s side made them. Good thing too, she’s brilliant in the kitchen. Dinner at her place is never dull that’s for sure. To top off my package from home I have a bunch of Easter eggs sitting at the end of my bed too, probably from friends on this side of the world. I’m going to need to do some serious exercise to burn off these calories. Another matter I’m going to snub until later.
I sent Tamuríl a few days ago with an Easter package for home, courtesy of our last trip to Hogsmeade. Honeydukes has everything, I love it. She should have made it home by now. I’m missing her company, but its great to have Earélas here. He’s sitting on the top of my laptop now while I’m typing, I’ve just given him a few of Tamuríl’s owl treats. Providing the house elfs have done their jobs, which I’m sure they have, Sera, Isis, and Syv should have their Easter pressies from me in their dorms too.
Okay, time for me to check out my chockie stash methinks, enjoy my time off while it lasts…
