After my B&B coup, I skipped out of work early to get to an eye exam at 4. It had been about 20 months since my last exam, which didn't concern me that much, but I was on my last pair of contacts, so it was really kind of necessary. Wait, Laughing Planet what? They have a Laughing Planet in OR which is related to the one in Bloomington? How... How does this make sense??!

Yes, same Laughing Planet. There are two here and one or two in Portland. The owners started in Bloomington and then moved out here and opened a few more. Or maybe it was vice versa, I forget.

danielmc told me that he was visiting Eugene once many years ago, and walked into a little restaurant and it was as if he'd stepped through a wormhole into the Spoon, they were that similar. I haven't been able to find the Spoon vortex, though; believe me, I've been looking.
