Congrats Neil!
I woke up this morning to the lovely news that Neil Gaiman has just won the Newbery Medal for The Graveyard Book. Hurrah! I haven't read it yet myself, but I just reread the whole Sandman series over break, so I'm back in a cycle of Neil adoration. I hope this will net him a bigger reading public and more recognition of his considerable writing talents. Hopefully it'll also mean bigger audiences for the film version of Coraline that comes out next month.
In other, less exciting news, we can haz actual real snow, but we cannot haz snow day because hell will freeze over before IU even considers a delayed opening. Meanwhile, I'm having killer cramps and I forgot my water bottle and lunch at home. :P
