so a lifetime has passed... or so it seems.

work rules my world. good thing i like it right? things have changed a lot and are just beginning. our new mannequins have been coming in these past few weeks. they are beautiful. a wold of difference from the ones we have been using. and they should be, considering the originals were about 60 bucks a pop and our new ones are roughly a grand each! i love them. our shooting style has changed... we have more assistants and more are on the way. our studio is separating into two sections. the entire studio now will be for table products only and another studio will be built in another part of the warehouse for apparel. it is going to be 11,000 sq. ft. right now we have 3 bays, that studio will have 9. there is going to be a style team and a hair and make-up area along with a apparel prepping area all in the same building. its amazing. i have been training again. my third apparel trainee. abby. shes doing good! shes been off on vacation getting engaged this past week so she hasnt seen the new mannequins yet. i am so excited about them.

at home, things are busy too. besides daily life working and running around, we have been plugging along at our fall project list. so far i have gone through ALL my clothing and have about 4 big boxes to donate to salvation army. and mainly morbid, with a little of my help took all the duct work down in our basement, brought it outside, cleaned it, and put it all back up. i really wanted to tackle this dust problem once and for all so thats what we decided to try. now we just have to get some filters and finish up the last few steps. it was perfect timing to get it over with since the season it at that special place when we dont need any air or heat on.

we got out shed up in the backyard and leveled most of the yard too. it still has a little left but compared to actually moving the dirt from one end of the yard to the other, this will be easier. our fence is also almost done. reset and stained. it just needs a touch more staining on the back side of it.

last night we had major storms and tornado warnings. saw the darkest storm clouds i have ever seen in my life. it was pretty cool, and for the first time ever, actually made me slightly nervous.

boobs are one year old.
theres my update. maybe i will add thoughts and opinions later.

sidenote: i saw the most amazing shooting star ever a couple weeks ago.
