I'M FINISHED! Well, for a couple of weeks, anyway :) Here's to perhaps having some time to actually DRAW something!

I was skimming through past posts the other night (in the height of a procrastinatory mood), and came across the nervous-wreck post I made a few days before starting my job as a teacher.
And now it's done. It's hard to believe it's actually over, but in many ways it's a mighty good feeling! I won't be teaching next semester, but next year, who knows.

I must get back to art posts! I have missed doing them, and haven't done so mostly because I haven't had much interesting stuff to show. But here, to kick start things for the next few weeks, is the little guy, Walter, from my major film project - I finished rigging him this morning, he's still got a way to go, but some expression is starting to get in there so at least it's progressing.

A LOT to do over the next week, then, Ray comes to visit! Yay!! We're off to Melbourne by train to see Wicked and visit the penguins on Phillip Island, and also plan to do a lot of sightseeing and watching gorky movies together :D Until then, I've got to get myself organised, do my tax, work on my assessments, learn the basics of Toonboom, and hopefully pack in a bunch of drawing to boot! But for tonight at least, I'm going to relax.

Also, now that I'm not teaching anymore, I'm considering making my journal entries public again - this whole entirely-friends-locked thing seems a bit pointless now.
