Happy birthday to severusslave, who started this piece of madness. Her original four stories are here.
“John, this is Rodney. Radek and I found some furniture that will work for our quarters. I’m sending the exact location to your PDA. Would you and Carson come to take a look at some of this stuff?”
“Yeah, I’ll let Carson know. We’ll be there in a few minutes.” John tapped his earpiece to cut the connection.
“Where are we goin’?” Carson asked
“Rodney just let me know that he and Radek found some furniture. They want us to look at their find,” John said as he gestured at the schematic on his PDA.
John and Carson found Radek and Rodney inside one of the largest set of quarters anyone had found so far in Atlantis. They were preparing a large bed to be moved, tying the mattress to the frame. They lifted and moved the bed effortlessly, despite how much it must have weighed.
“You didn’t say anything about bringing a cart or something. How do you plan on getting that to our quarters without drawing any attention?” John asked.
Rodney gave John his trademark “Are you really that stupid?” glare before answering. “Radek and I are going to carry it.”
“Oh, like tha’ won’t attract any bloody attention,” Carson muttered.
“That’s what you and John are for. You’ll make sure we aren’t seen. Carson, you’ll scout ahead to be sure there aren’t too many people in the corridors. John…”
“You want me to put a glamour on us.”
“Exactly.”
John mock-sighed with a wry grin. “It’s not exactly a grand procession, but I think I can manage a glamour that will hide me, the two of you, and that bed. I need a couple of minutes to prepare since it’s been a while since I've done this. Carson, you can radio me, but none of us will be able to answer. I don’t want to risk us being heard on an open channel. You should still be able to see us, although not as easily as you would be able to in your unicorn form.”
John sat down and started to meditate. He immediately changed into his Elvish form. Carson studied his features since he hadn't really paid attention to John’s features the last time he saw him in Elvish form.
“Th’ Seelie Court. Tha’s what ye are, isn’t it?” Carson was staring at him with unabashed curiosity, eyes wide when John opened his eyes to look at him. “I knew ye were an Elf, Fae, whatever ye want to call yerself, but I didn’t know wha’ kind. Wha’ are ye doin’ so far away from the Court?”
Rodney and Radek were looking at John now, interested in his answer. John sighed, looking at all of them. “Yes, I’m from the Seelie Court. I’ll tell you the rest when we get back to our quarters, then I want to hear all of your stories in return. Let’s get this done first.”
“Yes, let us move this first, then let John tell his story,” Radek agreed. “I want to do this quickly.”
“You two ready, then?”
“Yes, yes, John. We’re ready. You’re the one we’ve been waiting on,” Rodney said impatiently.
“I would have thought that being a dragon you would have learned a little patience by now,” John muttered under his breath.
John looked at the bed and concentrated. As Carson watched the air around the bed shimmered, then a cart appeared under the bed, which seemed to be sitting about a foot higher. Then Rodney, Radek, and John seemed to fade away, along with the bed and the cart. He continued to stare as the three faded in and out of his view, never fully solid yet never completely invisible.
“Let’s go,” John finally said. “If anything happens to draw attention to us and the invisibility glamour fails, the cart should still be visible. It’s easier to convince someone to see something than to see nothing at all. Carson, if you’ll lead the way,” John bowed, smiling. “Let us know if you encounter anyone by either talking to the person or by keying your radio twice.”
Carson nodded and took the lead. The little procession made its way through Atlantis. They ran into a couple of people, who Carson greeted as the person went along their way. No one even looked at Radek and Rodney carrying the bed, or John walking beside them. Maneuvering the bed into the transporter was a little awkward and the part that was most likely to break the glamour. Fortunately, no one was around to see them manhandle the bed in or out of the transporter. Once inside their quarters, John paused to remove the glamour. Carson eyed the bed as Radek and Rodney put it in their bedroom.
“I’ll agree, it’s bigger than th’ old bed, but it could stand tae be a wee bit wider,” Carson said as they settled it in place.
“It was the biggest one we could find. I don’t think the Ancients had anything larger,” Radek said, shaking his head.
“I’ll just have tae fix tha’, then.” Carson went to his dresser and pulled out a small box. He opened the box and revealed a long stick.
Rodney saw it and jumped back. Radek bared his fangs and edged away from Carson.
“Carson! What the hell are you doing with that thing? I had no idea you could use one of those things!” Rodney screeched, eyes wide in panic.
“Would ye both please calm down?” Carson asked in a soothing voice. “I’m jus’ gonna use it tae make th’ bed a little wider. I had it custom made, using a hair from my own mane. I’m not gonna hurt any of ye.”
“Why did you not tell us?” Radek demanded.
“I didn’t want tae tell ye until ye knew I’m not like human wizards. I thought ye trusted me by now,” he said slightly mournfully. “Will ye jus’ make th’ bed real quick and let me make the bloody thing larger? We can talk about it in a minute.”
John, Radek, and Rodney quickly made the bed. When they finished Radek and Rodney stepped behind Carson, both looking like they were ready to run away. John simply leaned against the wall and waited.
Carson closed his eyes for a moment, then pointed his wand at the bed and said “Expande!”
The bed, along with everything on it, grew about a foot wider. Carson smiled, put his wand away and sat down on the new bed patting it invitingly.
“See, now it’s big enough for all of us.”

Major Marcus Lorne sat cross-legged on the balcony outside his quarters, eyes closed, listening to the sounds of Atlantis and the ocean. Atlantis was so different from anything he’d experienced before and he was still trying to learn its normal feeling. It was as magical as anyplace he’d been on Earth, just as magical as Hogwarts was when he had attended as an exchange student. He closed his eyes and tried to clear his mind, let it ride the sounds, when he felt a sudden surge of magic. He tried to focus on it, but the more he concentrated on it, the harder it was to feel. It was frustrating, like trying to look at a dim star that can only be seen out of the corner of one’s eye. Just as he thought he had pinned down the source it disappeared completely.
Marcus sat contemplating this most recent development. He thought the magical background noise he felt was all from the city, something else the Ancients left behind. He didn’t think there were any other wizards on Atlantis, but obviously he was wrong. Then again, it was almost impossible to tell if another individual was a wizard or not without revealing himself, Atlantis’s magical hum was so great. He needed to find out who else on Atlantis was using magic. He wondered if the wizard was a scientist or military. Whoever he or she was, they needed to meet, to work on defending Atlantis by combining magic and technology. He closed his eyes again, reaching out, trying to find the wizard he had felt earlier.

“Oh, shit! Shit!” John’s outburst startled everyone. His eyes were wide and unfocused as he stood completely still.
Carson, Radek, and Rodney all looked at him from where they had settled on the bed.
“What? What’s happened?” Rodney was the first to regain his speech. “John, talk to us. What’s going on?”
John looked at the others, slowly focusing his eyes on them, his face pale.
“Someone is scrying for us. There’s a wizard here in Atlantis, and he felt our magic.” John looked down at his hands, fingers slightly longer in their natural form. “I…I can’t risk putting the glamour back on myself now. Not with someone actively searching for magic.”
“John, come sit with us. There is nothing you can do right now, náš milenka. Please, try to relax,” Radek said with a forced calm. His face betrayed his anxiety. “You said you would tell us the story of why you are here.”
John shakily walked over to the bed, kicked off his boots, and sat down. He drew his knees up to his chest, pulling himself into a tight ball. He stared off at nothing, eyes unfocused again.
“Why don’t you start by telling us your name? That’s always a good place to start,” Rodney prompted gently. “John isn’t your real name, is it?”
“It is while I live among humans, which I have for a very long time. I left my people long ago, once I saw the potential of human kind. I…I saw that my people were stagnant, so I left. The name I was given when I was born is Menelacar. I prefer John, though,” John said quietly.
“Menelacar? Wha’ does tha’ mean?” asked Carson.
“It means ‘Swordsman of the Sky’, it’s the name my people gave a constellation.”
“Wait…’Swordsman of the Sky’? Orion, that’s the constellation, isn’t it?” Rodney said and suddenly something clicked in his mind. “That means you named the Orion after yourself!”
John looked at Rodney and grinned slightly. “It’s better than the Enterprise.”
“Still, you named the ship after yourself!”
“Hey, we were in a crunch and needed a name.”
Radek and Carson smiled at the familiar banter. John and Rodney had both relaxed which helped ease the tension among them all.
“And you said I’m not allowed to name anything,” Rodney grumbled.
“Gateship is still a crappy name!”
“All right, you two, settle down. We get th’ idea,” Carson laughed. “Please continue with yer story, John.”
“Before any of you ask, I’m not exactly sure how old I am. In Elvish lands time flows differently. What seems to be a single day in some realms can be an entire year in the realm of humans. About five thousand years have passed in the human world since I was born. Keep in mind that I spent a lot of time in the Elvish kingdoms, so time flowed differently to me there,” John paused. “I’m never going to look any older than I do right now, and I won’t ever die from age or disease. I can die from injury, some poisons, or despair if I simply choose to not live. I heal faster than humans, but a bullet in the chest is the same for me or a human, most likely fatal. Oh, gods…” John trailed off with a horrified expression.
“John, wha’ is it?” Carson asked, his voice full of concern.
“The Wraith…”
“Oh, no...please do not say what I think you will,” Radek said, equally horrified.
“I have a potentially infinite number of years that can be taken from me,” John said barely above a whisper.
“We won’t let that happen. YOU won’t let that happen, you’ve escaped the Wraith more than anyone else on Atlantis,” Rodney tried to reassure John as he slid behind him, putting his arms around John and pulling him back on his chest.
Carson and Radek each moved closer to John, so that he was surrounded on three sides. John found himself wrapped in the arms of his lovers, each giving the strength and support he needed. He took a deep, shuddering breath and tried to stop thinking about the Wraith.
After a few minutes, Rodney moved backwards to the top of the bed, pulling John with him. He leaned against the headboard with John still cradled in his arms, holding him in a protective hug. Carson and Radek lay on either side, draping their arms over the two, enveloping John. John sighed and relaxed into their embrace, closing his eyes. Someone’s finger gently brushed the tears from the corner of his eye.
“Ye just stay here today, John. I’ll tell Elizabeth ye’re sick an’ off-duty for th’ next forty-eight hours. Tha’ will give ye plenty of time tae put yer glamour back on an’ a chance tae relax.”
“’Kay,” John replied quietly.
“Beckett tae Weir.” There was a pause as Carson listened on his earpiece. “I’m afraid tha’ John is sick with a stomach flu an’ I’m goin’ to have tae take him off duty for th’ next forty-eight hours…No, it’s not serious. I want tae be sure he’s not contagious and well rested before I release him back to active duty…Yes, I’ll keep ye updated as tae his condition. Beckett out.”
“There ye go, th’ next two days off.”
“Thanks, Carson.”
“Ye’re very welcome, luv.”
John felt more tension leave him as Rodney hugged him tighter. John sighed contentedly and snuggled against Rodney’s chest. After a moment he felt several hands start to roam over his back, arms, and the nape of his neck. John moaned as his eyelids fluttered.
“Keep your eyes closed and just feel. You don’t have to do anything,” Rodney said in a low voice.
John kept his eyes shut as he felt hands pull his shirt out of his waistband. He felt a strong pair of hands slide up his chest under his shirt and lift him slightly. Other hands pulled his shirt over his head. When he was lowered back down on to Rodney’s chest, it was bare as well. Hands roamed over his bare skin again kneading and stroking while kisses landed on his lips, neck, and spine.
After the hands and lips finished with his back, three pairs of hands grasped him gently and turned him over onto his back. A pair of strong hands supported his shoulders as he felt nimble fingers unbuckle his belt, the thigh straps on his holster, and finally his pants. He felt a gentle jostling as his pants and boxers slid down his hips and off his legs. When he was settled he was lying on Rodney again, nestled between his legs, lying on his torso. John kept his eyes closed the entire time like Rodney had told him to and concentrated on the sensations. He realized suddenly that not only was Rodney shirtless now, he was completely nude as his erection rubbed against his back.
Hands and lips continued to skim the surface of his body, occasionally pausing to massage a knotted muscle or kiss an especially sensitive area. John let go of his worries and tension under the ministrations of his lovers. He felt a hand lift his own then lips enveloped his first finger, licking and sucking before moving to the next finger.
John floated in a haze of sensation. He lost track of the mouths and hands on his body. Slick fingers teased his puckered hole, stroking him on the inside as gently as other hands stroked his body. He moaned as a second finger slid inside him, stretching his limp body, teasing the sweet spot inside him without hurrying.
He was vaguely aware of being lifted by strong, broad hands settled back on Rodney’s body. John felt the head of Rodney’s cock pressing against his ass. Rodney wrapped his arms around him again, teasing his nipples. John threw his head back against Rodney’s shoulder as a third finger entered him, stretching him even more. A tongue traced along his exposed neck as a second mouth captured the whimper that escaped his lips as the fingers withdrew. John felt the hand slick Rodney’s cock and position it at John’s entrance. Rodney tilted his hips and slowly pushed into him.
“Mo Leannan, ye’re so beautiful like this,” drifted Carson’s voice from the foot of the bed.
John couldn’t respond as Rodney continued to slowly kiss him. Radek pressed even closer and began nibbling on his exposed neck, a shudder of pleasure running through his body as blunt teeth scraped over the delicate skin. The musk of sex and sweat assaulted John’s heightened senses, dragging him closer to the brink.
John arched as Carson’s mouth enveloped his throbbing cock, sucking him in time with Rodney’s leisurely thrusts. John clutched desperately at any flesh within reach, hands roaming over Radek’s back, through Carson’s hair and down his face, clawing at Rodney’s leg and hip.
As Rodney increased the pace of his thrusts Carson took all of John’s length in his mouth, the muscles of his throat constricting around John as he swallowed. John tensed as his lovers continued tormenting him, taking him to the edge of what he could bear and leaving him there. Radek nibbled his way down John’s neck to his chest, taking a nipple in his mouth, swirling his tongue around the hard nub.
John pulled away from Rodney’s mouth, panting. “Please,” he begged. “Please, I can’t take much more.”
“Let go, love,” Rodney whispered in John’s ear, his hot breath tickling the sensitive skin. “Let it all go.”
“Mmmmm,” Radek hummed in agreement against John’s chest, working his way back up to his neck.
John screamed as Rodney thrust into him hard, desperately clutching at Radek and Rodney. As John came, Radek bit his neck, sending him crashing over the edge as Carson swallowed. John felt Rodney shudder beneath him and Radek sucking blood from his neck as he faded into blissful oblivion.
~~~
John drifted back to consciousness as Radek was licking the bite on his neck, closing the punctures. He opened his eyes and saw Carson’s arm draped across his chest while Rodney still hugged him tight.
Suddenly, John sat upright, his eyes wide. His hand flew to his neck where Radek had bit him. Radek’s eyes widened as he realized what the problem was.
“John, I am so sorry. I was not thinking. Did the wizard sense me?” Radek asked, his voice filled with fear.
John closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating. When he opened them again, his face showed less worry.
“I don’t think so. I don’t think it was enough to give us away. Carson, can you sense anything?”
Carson’s eyes unfocused as he stared off into space for a few moments before returning his attention to John.
“I can’t tell. I never felt th’ wizard the first time so I don’t really know what tae search for without actively scrying. That’s something ye’re better at than I am.”
With the adrenaline rapidly fading from his system, John collapsed on the bed. Flanked by his lovers, John drifted off to sleep.
“Don’t worry about it right now. There’s not anything we can do at the moment anyway,” Rodney whispered.
Marcus Lorne sensed a slight twinge of magic which disappeared as soon as he felt it. He thought it came from residential area of the city, which was no surprise. As he gave up searching, he tried to think of a way to discover who this mystery wizard was.
